YOUR WORLD TROUGH MY EYES.

THE NEVER ENDING QUEST.

Hi, welcome to dark hours website.

I don't now if you have experienced the same feeling as me but there come's a moment in your life when souvenirs of the past become fade and distant and your vision of the places you visited don't express the emotion you felt that instant. That is what captured my interest in photography in the later part of my life. I started roaming the world at the age of 22 years when I joint the France Foreign Legion in an idealistic impulsion and one of my regrets today is that I wasn't  interested in photography at the time. The extraordinary places and events I've seen are now distant souvenirs. Countries like Guyana, Chad,  Djibouti, and many others are full with extraordinary moments of life and have outstanding landscapes.

So what's the quest ?

For me its not making a beautiful picture using the established rules of photography.

Every person has a different emotional reaction on events or special places, landscape and our inner self has its own individual interpretation of ambiance and sentiments. My quest is to dig in my inner self to find bribes of feelings and emotions  that i would like to melt in my photography. Its the need to give a certain ambiance to a picture and to preserve a tiny part of me in time. Let's say its my journey to getting to now myself better and a way to communicate whit others in unlimited space without words, just a moment in time, somewhere, anywhere, just you and me.
